Once a year we publish a full colour catalogue of approximately thirty pages, listing all our own publications and those of selected commercial partners that we sell by mail order.
You can download this catalogue or request a printed paper version sent free of charge…

You should be able to locate any of our publications via the search engine here on the site. Using a number of key words such as the author's name, the title or number of the publication you can display a list of all relative books and magazines.
You can also refine your search by utilising certain "modifiers" as explained below:

- Our shipping policy
Orders for products in stock are dispatched daily from Monday through to Friday (except public holidays). As a rule of thumb, delivery times on products in stock from the acceptance of your order, to processing the order, to arrival at your address are on average three to four four working days. However this is not a guaranteed shipping time and LELA PRESSE can not accept any liability in respect of postal delays or responsibility where awaiting stocks from other publishers or suppliers.
Please note that if you chose to pay by cheque (in Euros drawn on a French account only please) your order will only be dispatched once this has cleared.
Within France, all orders are dispatched via Colissimo Suivi, a priority rapid mail service offered by the French Post Office. Elsewhere postal charges are calculated on the basis of weight and dispatch zone - deliveries could take from one to three weeks depending on exactly where you are.

Shipping times are dependent on item availability and dispatch times, which taken together will give you a good idea of the total shipping time as in the following simple example : availibility + shipping time = time from processing order to acceptance
Ex:a book in stock dispatched using the French post office Colissimo suivi service for mainland France will be delivered in 24h + 48h = 72h or three working days (average shipping delay).

Avions-bateaux.com has elected to use a range of services provided by the French Post office for shipping all orders of Lela Presse publications and those of our commercial partners. Orders are thus expedited using the standard Post Office letter and parcel post according to the dispatch zone.

Postage charges are calculated using the standard Post office rates, according to weight and dispatch zone.
As an example, books or publications costing 55.00€ would incur the following shipping charges :
- 7.70€ postage & shipping charges using the Colissimo suivi service within France.
- 9.90€ postage & shipping charges using the Colissimo suivi Europe for items sent to the UK.
- 17.60€ using the standard parcel post rates, the Colis Economique service, for items sent to the USA.
Shipping charges for magazine orders - AVIONS and NAVIRES & HISTOIRE- are possible at printed paper rates and are consequently lower. Postal charges are waived on orders for ten or more magazines.

There are a number of methods of payment available, all secure. You can pay via ;
• credit card ( Visa, Eurocard / Mastercard), by entering your card number as indicated directly onto our secure order form (using industry-standard SSL encryption), ensuring that no spaces are left between the figures as well as the date of expiry. Payment is immediate using this method.
• cheque in Euros drawn on a French bank account, payable to LELA PRESSE. Cheques are banked prior to dispatch of the order but not until the items are in stock.

Orders and subscriptions passed on our site LELA PRESSE represent a binding contract.

LELA PRESSE reserves the right not to accept any order from a client where there has previously been a disagreement over payment of a prior order.

All transactions via the site are encrypted by WEBAFFAIRES, the internet payment system developped and ustilised by the bank « Crédit du Nord ».
When placing any order and paying by credit card on the site www.avions-bateaux.com of Editions LELA Presse, it is important to note that your bank details are not stored on our server. They are directly encrypted on the secure server of our bank , the Crédit du Nord, and are never printed out on paper, or invoice or any other form of list. Nobody is able to access your bank details, either via the server or any printed means. All personal information- which we require to better serve you – is protected by encryption.
The amount we will have debited you will be indicated on the order confirmation invoice dispatched by Editions LELA PRESSE and must be settled at the time the order is placed.
Any order sent via the site will be considered binding once we have obtained an autorisation number from your credit card supplier. Should this autorisation not be forthcoming, the order will be considered invalid. We will inform you by e-mail should this occur.
